  • A solid-lubricated bronze bearing with lubricant pockets embedded in the surface.

  • Offers maintenance‑free operation under high static & dynamic loads; sliding velocities up to ~0.4 m/s (p×U ≤ ~1.5 MPa·m/s)

  • Friction coefficient: ~0.10–0.15; temperature range: –100 °C to +250 °C hawcbearings.co.uk.

  • Resistant to dirt, corrosion, extreme edge loads, sealing well even in seawater and high humidity; electrically conductive, no stick‑slip effect

deva.metal®

  • A powder‑metallurgic self‑lubricating material with evenly dispersed solid lubricant (graphite, MoS₂, etc.) in a fully dense metal matrix (bronze, iron, Ni,

  • High static (~260 MPa) and dynamic (~130 MPa) load capacity; sliding speeds up to 0.4 m/s; p×U up to ~1.5 MPa·m/s

  • Works over –200 °C to +800 °C, corrosion-sensitive environments; suitable for dusty, high-temperature, and water-submerged applications

deva.bm® (incl. deva.bm®/9P)

  • A bi-metal composite: steel or stainless-steel backing with a sintered-on deva.metal® sliding layer.

  • Some variants use PTFE as the solid lubricant (deva.bm®/9P) for ultra-low friction

  • Static load up to ~280 MPa, dynamic up to 150 (or 120 for 9P); sliding speeds ~1.0 m/s; p×U up to ~1.5–2.0 MPa·m/s

  • Temperature range: –190 °C to +280 °C; excellent load capacity, corrosion resistance, use in sea‑water and nuclear or abrasive industrial settings

deva.tex®

  • A glass-fibre reinforced backing with an epoxy/PTFE composite sliding layer.

  • Built for resilient, corrosion-resistant applications; friction 0.03–0.25; temperature range: –40 °C to +130/160 °C (plates/bushings)

  • Load capacities: static up to 150–230 MPa; dynamic up to 75–140 MPa; sliding speeds up to 0.2 m/s; p×U up to ~1.2–1.5 MPa·m/s

GLYCODUR®

  • Composite bearing: steel backing with a sintered tin-bronze layer infiltrated with PTFE (plus additives).

  • Used in general dry‑running environments with good thermal and dimensional stability

  • Offers eco‑friendly production and competitive delivery performance
