Remote Controlled Valves
Hydraulic Actuators
The product range includes hydraulic single / double acting quarter turn actuators (type HSTP-D/F) and linear single / double acting actuators (type HKV). Actuator and O/C or stepless limit switch versions are available for almost all ship applications.
Electrical & Electro-Hydraulic Actuators
All hydraulic actuators can be delivered with a local hydraulic power unit (EHPP), available also Ex-protected. Additionally electric quarter turn actuators (type EST) and electric linear actuators (type ELA) with O/C or stepless limit switches are in the BESI supply scope.
Pneumatic Actuators
The product range includes pneumatic single / double acting quarter turn actuators (type PSA) and linear single / double acting actuators (type PKV). Actuator and O/C or stepless limit switch versions are available for almost all ship applications.
2&3-Way Regulating Valves
Two-way valves (type M2RV) are designed to regulate liquids and three-way valves (type M3RV) are used as mixing or diverting valve. The regulation valves can be installed in combination with our temperature or pressure differential regulators.
Tank Level Gauging
Draft Level Sensors
Draft level sensors (G72) together with classifi cation approved installation equipment can be installed in dry areas or submerged in tanks. The robust ceramic measuring cell grants a high accuracy and zero point stability.
Tank Level Sensors
Pressure sensors (G28) with IP67 protection and 1” or ½” process connection for dry installation can be used for tank level and pump pressure measurement. The tank level sensors are available with different fittings and ball valves.
Tank Level Sensors Submerged
Pressure sensors (G72) with IP68 protection and cable length up to 100 m for submerged installation can be used for tank level and draft measurement. The tank level sensors are available with different tank penetration flanges and fastening clamps.
Multi-Flange with Radar Sensors
Multi-flanges with radar sensors and limit switches are a compact and space-saving solution for use on product tanks. The selection of sensors and materials is application-specific - please feel free to contact us.

Operating & Monitoring
Operating and control equipment is available for all BESI system solutions. The functions and programming are customised to the given requirements. Our longtime experience in the marine business guarantees you reliable solutions.
Tank Level Switch Swing
For high and low tank level detection level switches are needed. The level switches can be mounted from outside the tank horizontally to detect low level at the Anti-Heeling Pump or vertically from tank top for High and HighHigh level detection.
Anti-Heeling Pump
An Anti-Heeling control system can be designed as a stand-alone system with a reversible pump or integrated into the ballast system. For both solutions we can offer you the required pumps and appropriate system technology.
Anti-Heeling Valve (PS & SB)
BESI actuators with O/C or stepless limit switches are designed for easy installation and connection. This combination is mainly used for Anti-Heeling valves which are mounted in dry areas.
